The SEN HỒNG (Sen Hong Scholarship) program by Relay Fund was established with a mission to support financially-challenged female students who possess strong determination and resilience in pursuing higher education at college or university level. Relay Fund is a non-profit social enterprise aiming to promote gender equity in education. Our goal is to provide assistance to underprivileged girls with access to higher education after high school through material support such as supplies and scholarships.

Selection process:
Application deadline: August 25th, 2023
Direct interview: 7-8/2023
Announcement of results and scholarship award: October 2023
Sen Hong Scholarship amount:
Medicine/Pharmacy majors: Equivalent to 850 USD/year
Other majors: Equivalent to 500 USD/year
🍀ELIGIBILITY
Female students enrolled in regular programs at universities and colleges; Individuals with a positive spirit of community service but lack the financial means to pursue their education.
Priority given to students from public universities majoring in medicine & pharmacy, engineering, pedagogy, environment, biology and life sciences, computer science, and information technology.
🍀SELECTION CRITERIA
Financial difficulties: Family income is insufficient to cover education-related expenses; Special circumstances (single parents, orphaned, ethnic minorities, medical expenses surpassing family’s financial capacity, etc.).
Strong will to learn: Ability to overcome current obstacles to achieve future goals and strong motivation to learn.
Desire to contribute to society.
